AA has an open breakfast speaker meeting the 2nd Sunday of each month at Paradise Cove. Buffet breakfast 10am $7.00 includes tax and tip; speaker at 11am. Other meetings Monday - Saturday all around the Valley.

Meets at it's new location, the Kern River Valley Library Conference Room, Saturday at 5pm. Monday at noon and Friday at 5pm. Another meeting takes on Wednesdays at noon at the College. Meetings are open to anyone interested in recovery from addiction.

Accepts applications for limited assistance every Friday from 9am - noon. Emergency propane and bus fares for medical needs are available. Bring verification of need to WEB Recycling, behind Crossroads Texaco, Lake Isabella.

Helps with emergency food, baby supplies, sleeping bags and shelter (when available). Also emergency help for fire victims. Located at 4621 Lake Isabella Blvd. inside Valley Thrift, open Tues.-Thurs. 12-3pm. Applicants must show two forms of ID for all adults in household.

A support group for heart patients and families. Guests welcome. Meetings are the 2nd Tues. at 1pm in the community room at the Veteran's/Senior Center.

Ladies meet at the Masonic Temple in Kernville on the 3rd Tues. at 9am; to help make dressings and other items or if you need them.

Meets Mondays at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church in Lake Isabella, room2. 

Offers many programs to assist the needy and homeless. If you are homeless or in need, we may be able to assist you. Come by WEB Recycling on Suhre Street near Crossroads Texaco in Lake Isabella.
